Croatia kept its tournament alive by beating Panama 1 to 0, while Colombia edged Congo DR 1 to 0. In MLB, the Philadelphia Phillies pulled off the wildest finish, beating the Washington Nationals 14 to 9 after an eight-run ninth inning powered by Brandon Marsh's tying homer and Bryson Stott's go-ahead shot. The Yankees beat the Tigers 4 to 3 behind Jazz Chisholm Jr.'s go-ahead homer. In the WNBA, the New York Liberty beat the Las Vegas Aces 87 to 76.
